This is the page to view my doll house construction and improvements.  It has been about a month since I purchased the kit and started construction.  I hope you enjoy my voyage down construction lane.. This is a Victorian House with 6 rooms which I intend to complete and improve upon during the coming year.  I hope you enjoy my fun with it. Construction started Nov 10, 2002

December 8, Still lots more to do however, wanted to paint it and get the front on with the windows and door.  Still, attic windows need more work, and lots of window trim yet to go.

1. This is when i got the frame together pre-digital cam. used a cheap web-cam to 'snap it'. Nov 26, 2002

2. This is the second picture showing what the house will look like when it's front is on. Nov 26, 2002

3. Dec 8th, lots more to do to the interior, but needed to attach the front for my morale

4. Dec 8, first coat of blue pait, still need to put lots of trim on, and paint trim white. but doors and windows are on!

5. Doll house sized with yard stick Dec 12. I just noticed i had the camera date set wrong :(

6. Dinning Room (large) will be next to kitchen. Fooring project 12/12/02

7. New Flooring in Dinning room. Cut 3 pieces to size and glued. 12/12/02

8. Compare flooring in Dinning room to bare floor of kitchen to the right. Notice the more 'detailed' look of the wood. 12/12/02

My dinning room furniture. all the doors and drawers work in the Sideboard, and it has a mirror.

this shows the kitchen floor now, which i tiled.

Foot note to dinning room project.  I intend to use miniature area rugs to be able to display the real wood floor that I needed to cut with a saw!  I might go out and buy a hard hat soon LOL.  12/12/02
